Local, raw, and unfiltered, creamed honey is pure honey but mixed/stirred so that it has a thicker consistency than honey with a pale yellow color. The consistency of this honey is perfect for spreading on toast. Our favorite is creamed honey on fresh sourdough bread right out of the oven.
Creamed Honey
Creamed honey is pure honey that has been mixed/stirred at low speed to change its consistency to make it thicker so that it is spreadable. Once creamed it turns pale yellow in color and is no longer transparent. It is still raw, unfiltered and unprocessed and nothing is added to it.
